Put down the phone, put down the script.

Everyone is moving so fast -- doing doing doing.

This shows up not only vocally but in the non-verbal as well. When we are moving so fast, we stop listening, our bodies become tense -- we stop being curious; lose our nuances; stop connecting with each other; relationships fade away or never deepen.

We walk around dimmed.

It's not just about slowing down; it's about showing up and being present. In the moment. With whoever or whatever is directly in front of you.

Put down the phone, put down the script.

Take a moment now.
Allow for a deep breath.
Listen within.
Listen beyond the room you are in.
Feel your feet on the ground.

Now, begin again.
As if for the first time.
